Youth Law Center’s Resource Library
Youth Law Center’s searchable online Resource Library is a vital tool for legal advocates working to advance justice for children and youth in the foster care and juvenile justice systems. As a California State Bar-funded Support Center, we provide no-cost legal training, technical assistance, and advocacy support to California’s qualified legal services programs, and our library is an important repository of information.
Our Resource Library equips advocates with high-impact materials designed to strengthen casework, inform litigation, and support systemic reform. It includes YLC-authored publications, fact sheets, legal guides, sample pleadings, policy briefs, and other practice-based tools that address the unique legal and developmental needs of system-involved youth. These resources reflect decades of YLC’s legal and policy expertise and are grounded in real-world challenges faced by young people and their advocates.
Whether navigating individual representation or shaping broader reform strategies, our library offers trusted, practical tools to support powerful, informed, and effective advocacy.
