    Summer Seminar: Disability Rights & Systems Involved Youth

    Each summer, YLC hosts a series of presentations on a variety of topical areas. We welcome attendees from California QLSPs and Support Centers, including staff, interns, and volunteers. Please join us!

    Children and youth with disabilities are disproportionately represented in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. State and federal laws provide protections to them, but these are often out of reach due to structural barriers. Learn what protections apply and how to assist youth access program accommodations, modifications and obtain necessary services.
