Join us in investing in youth and family leadership in 2023!
This year, support from our generous donors has enabled YLC to focus our systems change advocacy to achieve justice for children and youth in foster care and juvenile justice through ensuring love, stability, and the opportunities necessary for a healthy future.
YLC’s advocacy is effective and powerful because we bring our deep legal and systems change expertise to efforts to apply child and youth development research to practice and policy with a commitment to listen to and invest in the power and leadership of directly impacted youth and families to direct, drive and sustain reform. One of the ways we do this is through providing leadership and advocacy training to “QPI Champions”, who champion excellent parenting for every child and youth in their communities. One of our QPI Champions, Palmira Ramirez, is leading efforts in her community to ensure that systems remember the urgency of parenting and families during the holidays.
As 2022 comes to a close and we look towards the approaching new year, we are lucky to have exceptional youth leaders like Palmira to remind us that the most important work we can do in the world is to ensure that the most vulnerable children and youth are with loving families in their own communities.
Please consider making your year-end contribution to YLC to ensure all children and youth in foster care and juvenile justice systems receive the support, opportunities, and love they need to lead happy, healthy, and full lives in 2023.
Thank you for continuing to support YLC!
Wishing you a happy and healthy holiday season,
The Youth Law Center Team
