Support the #UpChafee campaign to meet urgent needs of transition aged youth in  foster care

YLC, along with a coalition of national advocacy groups, has launched the #UpChafee Campaign to urge Congress to take action to ensure young people transitioning to adulthood in foster care are able to survive the hardships caused by the COVID-19 crisis. The #UpChafee campaign calls on Congress to increase Chafee funds by $500 million in order to address the immediate needs of youth such as housing and food, and provide flexibility to states on key programs that aid transition aged youth such as extended foster care. Join our advocacy by signing on to this letter to Congress today to send a strong message to DC that youth in foster care matter.
