YLC Part of CDSS "Continuum of Care" Workgroup

On September 6th, Youth Law Center staff participated in the first meeting of the CDSS “Continuum of Care: Roadmap to Reform” workgroup. This workgroup is tasked with several foster care reform tasks including new guidelines for use of congregate care, and revising rates, services, and programs. Specifically, CDSS reform goals include: care based on an assessment of children’s needs, limiting the use of congregate care, and developing capacity for families that can meet the needs of youth.
