Edgar Zaragoza Guzman
Edgar Zaragoza Guzman is the Administrative Specialist at the Youth Law Center, a new, hybrid role to help meet support needs on both our Administrative and Legal Advocacy teams. Edgar joins us after having received a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2021. While in law school, Edgar served as a Board member for a wide variety of law student associations, as well as serving as the Staff Editor for the IP & Technology Law Journal and the First Year Moot Court Director, coordinating all things administrative for the program in a fully remote environment. Edgar spent time as a legal intern at La Raza Centro Legal in San Francisco and the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles, and as a Contracts Analyst intern at Ironclad, Inc., a contract management software company in San Francisco. Prior to law school, Edgar also worked with the Los Angeles Film School as their International Relations Coordinator. Now at YLC, Edgar will help us build capacity for both day-to-day operations and legal advocacy project work by taking on a variety of administrative responsibilities, including helping with process and system improvements.
