Leah Pinedo

Pathways Student Leadership Cohort Fellow

Leah Pinedo (she/her) is a case manager at Homeboy Industries where she assists formerly incarcerated and gang members to redirect their life. Homeboy Industries is a non- profit organization that assists formerly incarcerated and gang- related individuals re- enter society. Leah also works as a legal and community outreach intern for an education project called Youth and Justice Clinic at UCLA School of Law. As a legal and community outreach intern Leah represents and is a voice for her community to create an interactive tool and website for youth to navigate the courts within the Juvenile and Justice System. Prior to joining the project at UCLA School of Law, Leah was a student at UCLA where she graduated with her Bachelors in Sociology in December of 2021. Leah’s passion is helping and serving as an advocate for formerly incarcerated individuals to be experts in their own life. Currently Leah is studying for the LSAT and plans to take the test in March. To take a break from her busy and crazy life Leah loves to be outdoors with her dog Chuko.
