Jennifer Rodriguez Featured in National NCYC Webcast

On September 12th, Jennifer Rodriguez, YLC Executive Director, presented on a National Center for Youth In Custody webinar titled “Creating and Sustaining Improved Conditions for Youth In Custody”. Jennifer’s presentation focused on how litigation can be one important tool among others for addressing specific issues that impact incarcerated youth. Additionally, Jennifer’s presentation covered the need to ensure that systems use a young person’s contact with the juvenile justice system as an opportunity to provide a positive intervention through thinking about improving conditions holistically and avoiding incarceration whenever possible.
