Through California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM), the Department of Health Care Services is reforming Medi-Cal to provide more streamlined, coordinated, and standardized care that supports the “whole person.” This resource provides answers to many frequently asked questions about the CalAIM initiative and behavioral health care services for systems-involved youth, including youth impacted by the child welfare system, juvenile justice system, or experiencing homelessness.
